Porter Lummus - Chairman
Porter Lummus is the founder and managing member of Inwood Holdings. He also serves as the Chief Investment Officer with responsibility for sourcing, underwriting, and financing the company's investment transactions.
Prior to forming Inwood Holdings, Mr. Lummus was one of four founding partners at Centennial Investment Properties. He served as Chief Investment Officer at Centennial where he acquired and financed over 3,100 units with a total capitalization exceeding $315,000,000.
Before starting Centennial, Mr. Lummus was an investment officer for AMLI Residential, a NYSE traded REIT. It was during this time he closed the largest single apartment transaction in the history of Georgia in April of 2004.
Mr. Lummus' other private investment experience came as Director of Acquisitions at Pritzker Residential. During this time he had nationwide responsibility for multi-family acquisitions as the company grew from 6,500 units to more than 13,000 units over a five year period.
Mr. Lummus served on the Board of Directors of the National Multi-Housing Council from 2000 - 2003, is a licensed broker in the state of Georgia, and holds a CCIM designation from the National Association of Realtors.
Scott Manspeaker - CEO
Scott Manspeaker has primary responsibility for executing Inwood's asset strategies post-closing. He is also a voting member of Inwood's investment committee.
Prior to joining Inwood, Mr. Manspeaker was the CFO/Vice President of Operations for The Sterling Group, a privately held multi-family and condominium developer. During his 10 year tenure at Sterling, Mr. Manspeaker served as the asset manager for a multi-family portfolio comprised of six communities (2,042 units/$218 million), structured and negotiated finance agreements for all Sterling projects, and managed all on-site and corporate personnel (50 employees).
Prior to working at Sterling, Mr. Manspeaker was a staff accountant for Homes, Lowry, Horn & Johnson, an accounting firm based in Vienna, VA. At HLH&J he worked on financial statement audits of Government, Not-For-Profit, and Public entities. Mr. Manspeaker also prepared Federal and State tax returns for Partnerships, Corporations, and S-Corporations.
Mr. Manspeaker is a Certified Public Accountant and received his B.S., Accounting from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
Karen Madore - Controller
As Controller, Karen Madore is responsible for property and entity level accounting, cash management, and investor financial reporting. She is also responsible for software implementation and all human resource
functions.
Prior to joining Inwood, Ms. Madore was the Controller for The Sterling Group a privately held apartment and condominium developer. During her tenure with Sterling Group, she was responsible for preparing the accounting and financial reporting at the asset and corporate levels. Ms. Madore also processed payroll and administered employee benefits.
Before working at The Sterling Group, Ms. Madore served as the Accounting Manager for The Gipson Company, a privately held shopping center developer. This position had responsibility for all entity and corporate
accounting functions, including CAM reconciliations and income tax filings. In addition, Ms. Madore was responsible for coordinating construction draws with the bank and Project Manager for each project.
At ECI Management, Ms. Madore held the position of Accounting Manager overseeing a staff of four as they prepared financial reports for over 30 ownership entities. Her department was also responsible for
monthly recording of escrows & owner investment accruals.
Prior to ECI, Ms. Madore was employed at Atlantic Realty Partners, a privately held multi-family and hotel developer. During her tenure with Atlantic Realty she was responsible for all entity and corporate accounting. In this role she implemented a software conversion for both property management and hotel accounting. Additionally, Ms. Madore was responsible for all aspects of Human Resources for a multi-state
payroll and employee benefit programs.
